As Freemasons and free men and women; we the members and officers of Lodge Nap0leon Bonaparte loudly and proudly declare our sovereignty and independence; not only as Freemasons but as collective citizens under the canopy of Heaven.
1.) We are our own Brothers' keepers. We do not answer to any other Masonic authority and therefore we do not bind ourselves under any foreign authority.
2.) We hold it within our rights to manage our affairs as we see fit, regardless of attempted outside interference.
3.) We hold no formal position in regards to other Masonic organizations, esoteric, fraternal or civic societies.
4.) We are self reliant. We do not rely on nor solicit outside organizations or non members for monetary or other support of any kind.
5.) We are guided by our conscious, upheld by our virtue and legitimized by our ritual.
Along with this declaration, the often misunderstood topic of Masonic "regularity" must be addressed. Given that we, the membership of Lodge Napoleon Bonaparte are resolute to the position that we are a sovereign and independent Masonic lodge we take it upon ourselves to determine the requirements we see fit to determine our regularity. We do not recognize the authority of any other body to rule over us. With this iron clad fact in mind we do not feel it appropriate to define regularity when it comes to our lodge under any other organizations guidelines.
While we do have respect for and appreciate other Masonic organizations and their views on the topic of regularity, those views serve for us only on an informational level.
